webpic2Village of Progress is a private not for profit corporation that was founded in 1969 to meet the training needs of adults with disabilities who reside in Ogle County. The agency is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors that represents various walks of life and virtually every community in the county.

The Purpose

The purpose of the Village is to provide training services to persons with disabilities age 16 or older so that they may live a fulfilling life as contributing members of their home and community.


Day Training

The day training occurs Monday through Friday and includes but is not limited to: Evaluation & Assessment; Job Training; Supported Employment; Social & Recreational Experiences; Health Care & Maintenance; Living Skills Instruction and Physical & Occupational Therapy.

Volunteer

volunteer-quoteVolunteers benefit our consumers by accompanying groups on outings and recreational activities; assisting with grooming and health needs; helping with craft projects; and providing transportation for such things as doctor’s visits and shopping trips. Volunteer time and talents are appreciated by both staff and consumers.
