ADMISSION

The Village of Progress welcomes new men and women who could benefit from our services.

Referrals are regularly received from a variety of sources including the Department of Rehabilitation Services, Department of Human Services, Mental Health Centers, Department of Public Aid, School Systems, Clergy, Long Term Care Facilities, parents and relatives, and at times the individuals themselves.

Following the referral, the Village will determine eligibility based on the individual’s background information and medical, physical, and social needs. We want to ensure that each person that attends the Village will have a productive and positive experience.

The Village of Progress is annually audited by the State of Illinois and has historically received reviews with 99% or greater approval.
We are endorsed by and work cooperatively with a number of state and local agencies:

• State of Illinois Department of Labor
• Ogle County Community Mental Health Board (708)
• Ogle County School Districts

All of our employees meet or exceed the requirements of appropriate federal and state governmental bodies.
